The Information and Electronics Materials Division provides materials used in electronic devices, mobile phones and lenses to name a few. Mitsui Chemicals' material products find applications in the electronics and information materials sector, a field which demands exacting specifications.

For instance, our “APEL” cycloolefin copolymers are used in DVD player and mobile phone camera lenses. This product is a clear resin which has superior qualities to glass.
